cashew milk latte (how to make at home)

I am obsessed with the cashew milk latte.

It's luscious, creamy and only contains espresso, water and cashews. No milk sugar. No added sugar. And absolutely perfect.

I spent a pretty penny on these at the hipster cafe in my neighborhood until my friend Peret told me how to make them at home. My life is forever changed.


  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup raw cashews


  1. Boil water
  2. Combine hot water and cashews in a high powered blender or Vitamix and blend until the "milk" is smooth (about 1 minute)
  3. Make an espresso shot your favorite way. I love our areopress but I love our nespresso machine more.
  4. Pour cashew milk over the espresso and attempt to make a heart shape, swirled swan or chubby hippo. It will not work. Giggle and enjoy your delicious latte :)
